ROADMAP · BETA
What is built, what is in beta, what comes next
Petrora is in beta and this page is the plan, kept current as things ship. No dates: the order is the promise, and the order can change when you tell us what you need. Tell us what to move up →

ShippedMaps
Permits, disposal wells, and earthquakes, each on its own map with the list filters; disposal and earthquakes overlay each other.
Basins, fields, and cross-sections
Six regions as district groups; every named field with its leases, operators, and ten years of production; formation tops for up to eight wells side by side.
Entity pages for every record
Permits, wells, counties, operators, formations, leases, with generated briefings built only from counted facts.
Produced water and earthquakes
Statewide hubs, county drill-downs, and single-event pages with the disposal wells beside them.
Watchlists
Save a permit search by county, operator, district, or type; open it any time, or turn on a daily email of new matches.
Watch this county, watch this operator
One click from a county or operator page into a prefilled watchlist, and back to where you were once it is saved.
Open data API
Every page as JSON at a stable URL, documented, read-only.
Guides and llms.txt
How the records work, written for people and for the assistants that cite them.
Accounts, trials, and API keys
Email and password or Google. Every account starts a free trial of the connector and API; keys live on the account page.
In beta
Free trial01
MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot
In beta, on a free trial that starts when you connect. Add Petrora to your assistant and ask in plain language; tools map one to one to the data API and every answer cites its records.
02
API keys and metered use
In beta. Keys from the account page, every call metered against a free trial or a plan; there is no anonymous access.

Planned, in order01
Studio: custom pages for your work
Build a page, dashboard, or report for your territory or your customers, from your AI or in Studio; keep it private, share it, or publish it.
02
Digital analysts: scheduled briefs
An agent reads every filing in your territory and writes the morning brief, starting as a narrative version of the digest.
03
More Texas sources
Pipelines, gas plants, plugging, and the H-1 and H-15 filings behind the UIC record.
Later
When the above has earned itBeyond Texas
New Mexico first, when the Texas joins are proven enough to copy. Not before. Addresses already carry the state, so a second one is a sibling, not a rewrite.
Teams
Shared watchlists, shared pages, and a billing owner.
Bulk exports
Versioned datasets for people who want the whole table.
What will not change
- The data stays public record, cleaned and joined, and every page keeps saying where each number came from.
- Generated text describes the records. It does not forecast, and when a model is shown it is labelled as one.
- Machines get the data through the API and connector, not by scraping pages.
