Well history
WRITTEN BY THE NORWEGIAN OFFSHORE DIRECTORATE
General
Well 15/3-10 was drilled as an appraisal well on the 15/3-4 Sigrun discovery on the Gudrun Terrace in the North Sea. The target formation was located to the west and down dip of the original discovery well 15/3-4. The main objective was to prove more resources than already proven in the Middle Jurassic Hugin Formation in the 15/3-4 discovery well.
Operations and results
A 9 7/8” pilot hole (15/3-U-8) was drilled to check for shallow gas. No shallow gas was observed.
Appraisal well 15/3-10 was spudded with the semi-submersible installation Deepsea Bergen on 5 June 2018. The well was drilled to 990 m but due to failed cement operation of the surface casing, the well was abandoned.
The well did not fulfil the objectives.
No cores were cut. No fluid sample was taken.
The well was permanently abandoned on 13 June 2018 as a junk well. Replacement well 15/3-11 was initiated.
Testing
No drill stem test was performed.

About this data
Norwegian Offshore Directorate (Sodir) FactPages, mirrored nightly and used under the Norwegian Licence for Open Government Data (NLOD). Depths are metres along the wellbore from the kelly bushing unless a row gives its own unit; older cores are filed in feet. A zero the Directorate files for an unmeasured pressure, density, or temperature is shown as a dash.
